Perched on the edge of a cliff, a Peregrine f Falcon takes time to preen, her powerful beak carefully cleaning an smoothing a tail feather. As these birds can reach speeds up to 200mile per hour when diving at prey, maintaining the flawless condition her feathers is essential to maintain her precision aerial maneuvers at high speed.
