In my opinion, this is simply stunning and one of the most beautiful of parrots. In this image, a Rose-faced Parrot is captured here feeding on ripe bananas. While driving past an abandoned banana farm in Ecuador, we came across of small flock of these parrots feeding on the green bananas. Bananas are not native to Ecuador, but this parrot seems quite happy to have adopted this fruit into its diet. This image showcases the parrot's vivid many-colored plumage, Included its green body, almost golden neck color, scalloped crown feathers, namesake pink face and, for contrast, blue eye. The parrot's curious posture and the lush background create an engaging scene.
