A Yellow-Collared Macaw peeks out from dense green foliage and grabs a bunch of small, green fruits. The bird holds the cluster in its beak, highlighting its natural foraging behavior. The parrot's namesake yellow collar is partially exposed. These macaws are usually quite shy, but we came across a group of them feeding on a riverside bush as we floated by on a boat. We stopped, and they just kept feeding, allowing me to get this image.
