This stunning image captures a pair of Red and Green macaws flying close together. This action image showcases a their striking red feathers on their heads, bodies and tails and the vivid green and blue feathers on their wings, back, and tip of their tails. I always think that there is more blue than green in these parrots, so I wonder why they are not called "Red and Blue Macaws". These macaws are also called Green-wing Macaws, after their scientific name, Ara chloroptera. This photograph not only emphasizes the beauty of these exotic birds but also their pair bond, making it a perfect representation of wildlife behavior. Ideal for bird lovers and nature enthusiasts, this image brings the essence of these tropical parrots to life. I have many other flight shots of this species.
