A Puma is focused on extracting the last bits of meat from a Guanaco skeleton. The scene captures the raw reality of nature, highlighting the puma's role as a predator in its ecosystem. In the background, another puma can be seen, adding depth to the composition. This image reflects the cycle of life and death in the wild, showing nature at its harshest. In Patagonia, where this image was taken, a large part of the Puma's diet consists of the guanaco, a large member of the camel family. Everywhere we hiked, we saw Guanaco bones scattered about.
