A pair, male and a female, of Glossy Black Cockatoos are perched together on a eucalyptus branch, showcasing their striking plumage and unique features. This species is unusual, as some think that the female, with yellow markings on her head, is more beautiful than the male. The male does, however, have a broad stripe of bright red on his tail, characteristic of their genus, Calyptorynchus. These birds pair for life, so the closeness between them is natural social behavior for them. Perfect for bird enthusiasts and nature lovers alike, this photograph invites viewers to appreciate the delicate ties seen in nature.
